Beverley Women's Advice Centre (BWAC) is a Free Service based in the Toll Gavel United Church Centre, Walkergate, Beverley. We are open Tuesday and Thursday each week from 9am-12pm, and 1pm-3pm.

If you are a Woman in Beverley and the surrounding area who has some issues or just wants a cup of tea and a chat we are here to help. If you feel you are in need of help regarding advocacy we can assist you with that. We are here, not to judge, but to listen and signpost you to the relevant agencies. We have a very informal place where you can sit and relax.
Sometimes we all need a bit of help. It can be a minefield when we start to ring people that we may think can help us and then you are passed on to another person, and by the time you have explained your situation so many times you tend to give up. This is where we come in - A problem shared is a problem halved!!
We will advocate (act) on your behalf and make sure that we can do the best for you. We listen to Your needs and cover a wide range of issues. Including family, legal, domestic violence, self harm, mental health, homelessness, alcohol, drugs and eating disorders. Or if you just want a friendly ear and just want to talk that's fine too. Our Service is completely confidential.
